Black Scab On Leg, Bleeding. Redness Around Area. Anything To Worry About?

I have a very small like blackish scab on the bottom of my leg, does not look like a mole, more like a scab, have noticed it bled once or twice, very little, also seemed like the scab wanted to fall off last night but didnt, now tonight i noticed it is red around the area, is there anything to worry about, I have an appointment with a dermatologist on Thursday. Thanks

Hi gpoling
Welcome to healthcare Magic!
With the appearance you have described I think you are having an infection in your foot surface.
It could have started by an inadvertent injury or a prick that went un-noticed and got infected.
You should get examined as soon as possible and get treat accordingly.
Wish you a great health!
