Bleeding From Ears After Using Q Tip. Emergency Needed?
Just cleaned out my 4year old daughters right ear with a q-tip. She jumped and screamed :( obviously I inserted it too far. It started bleeding bright red blood and then it stopped about one minute later. She said it still hurts a little but I gave her children's motrin and shes behaving as if it isnt bothering her that much. Should I take her to the emergency room tonight, or since it isn't bleeding, just see a doctor in the morning? She seems alright for the moment but I'm so frightened! Thank you for your help in advance!

I understand the cause of your concern is your little ones ear. I believe, you must have traumatised her ear canal with the q-tip, cos there was some bleeding. But, do not panic and yes, you don't have to rush to the emergency.
I recommend you to keep her ear dry and not let any water enter the ear. Don't use ear buds/ q tips as they can traumatise the ear canal/ ear drum. Give her a pain killer like paracetamol/ ibuprofen. Get her eardrum examined to put your mind at rest and to rule out any damage to the eardrum.
