Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I don t generally snort cocaine, every once in awhile I do. I know I shouldn t but every so often, maybe 1 time every few months I do. I always get this feeling that my ears are blocked. The same way it feels when your sick. Is this normal? And is their a way I can stop the feeling? Holding my nose and blowing doesn t help. Thanks
Cocaine snorting causes nasal congestion and it may cause inflammation of nasal mucosa. Due to congestion blockade of nasal tube occurs some times. Due to this you are having feeling of blocked ear. There may be some crusts formed in nose. So I will advise you to not to take cocaine again and visit an ENT doctor for proper evaluation. You can take anti histaminic drugs for symptomatic relief.
Thanks
