Blood After Bowl Movement. Protected Coitus With Someone Who Had Herpes. Herpes Causes Blood In Bowel Movement?

I have recently been ingesting a lot of ghost pepper salsa. There has been blood on the toilet paper off and on during the cleaning process after a bowel movement. Upon cleaning my last BM, there was a lot of blood on the toilet paper, and even in the water (prior to this BM there hadn’t been blood in the water). Side note: I have also recently had protected coitus with someone who has herpes (I was unaware at the time... this was over a month ago). I have yet to be tested and have had no symptoms, however, I note this because I have read that herpes may cause blood in stool. Thank you in advance for your answers.
