Blood In Phlegm, Dizziness, Weakness, Anxiety, Cold And Cough. Quit Smoking. What Seems Wrong?

I am 24 year male,i have been smoking for 4 years(less than 10 cig a day)and recently i noticed some blood in my phelgum twice in gap between 3 days.it was 20 days before, then after i quit smoking .i felt diziness,weakness,anxiety and had cold and cough.still sometimes i spit phelgum but no cough,no blood,though i have sore throat.do i need to be worry or it was a normal sign.i am almost normal now .no alarming situation. please help me.thanks.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since you were a smoker from last 4 years that too heavy smoker. Blood in phlegm i.e.expectoration , cough , sore throat, weakness anxiety, dizziness. The tension of blood in phlegm develops dizziness, weakness . However cough, , phlegm with blood may be due to , 1 Septic pharyngitis i. e. sore throat , 2 tuberculosis, 3 broncogenic carcinoma. X ray chest with M R I can confirm diagnosis , if any , for this you should consult a physician and get his opinion. Smokers cough is another cause . Get in examination of phlegm in lab.for A F B ( tuberculosis). Good luck. Dr. HET
