Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Let me explain few facts are about potassium .
The normal level of potassium is 3.5 to 5.0 m mol /L, whereas inside the cells is 150 m mol/L.
The potassium intake of an individuals on an average diet is 40-120 m mol/days or approximately 1mmol /kg /days.
As you mentioned in your diet various fruits , they all contains potassium and every balanced diet is important for a diabetic and hypertensive patient .
In my opinion change your diet after consultation with your dieteician .
Consult your treating doctor regarding high level of potassium.
Good luck. Dr. HET
