Blood Report Shows Abnormal Alkaline Phosphate And Mild Degree Of Microcytosis. Help?

BLOOD REPORT ON 19-12-12, HB-13.5gm/dl, RBS- 80.48mg/dl, LFT- EVERYTHING IS IN NORMAL RANGE EXCEPT ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE WHICH IS 35.0IU/L (100-280), RFT- EVERYTHING IS IN NORMAL RANGE URINE- PH- ACIDIC PUS CELL 2-3/hpf EPITHELIAL CELL- 5-6/hpf RBC- 2-3/HPF PBS- NORMOCYTIC NORMOCHROMIC RBCs WITH MILD ANISOCYTOSIS REPORT ON 14-01-2013 ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE- 201.0IU/L(100-280) URIC ACID- 3.55mg/dl URINE REPORT- PUS CELL- 1-2 EPITHELIAL CELL- 3-4 RBCs- 4-6 PBS- MILD DEGREE OF MICROCYTOSIS WITH ANISOPOIKILOCYTOSIS

hi there, you haven't mentioned the present hemoglobin level which would be helpful in explainling the microcytosis. Tho' your dec blood report is showing normal hemoglobin levels so you should not be suffering from microcytosis until and unless you have suffered from severe blood loss.Microcytosis and anisopoikilocytosis is seen in various degrees of anemia. Rest of your parameters are normal. Kindly get your blood hemoglobin and peripheral study repeated and I may be able to guide you further based on those reports.,till then take care.
