Blood Sugar In A 9 Months Pregnant Woman
hi my mom is 39, and she is almst 9 mnths pregnant, she is checking her sugar because there is a chance tht she might hav diabetes, she jus checked her sugar a few minutes ago, and it was 193, what can she do or what should she do after having it that high ?

many a times sugar manifests during pregnancy. As she is in ninth month of her pregnancy the best way is to go by the advice of the dr. where ante natal check up is going on. Avoid sugar and sweets.

Hi. If her first pregnancy was without any incidence then this might be an isolated incidence. However it would be best if you get a fasting blood sugar and a post prandial done on the earliest.

she needs to get a fasting blood sugar done ideally. she mist have something sweet & took the test, that can give high reading. if the fasting sugar also is high, will need a GTT test done, for that its beter consult a gynecologist or atleast a phycician.
