Blood Test After A Stomach Flu. Need Help In Explaining The Result
Hello Dr. Christensen, I am very worried right now. My doctor did not bother to contact me with my blood results and just mailed them to me. I am a 43 year old female. My blood results that were high: Cholesterol 206 HDL Cholesterol 23 Immature Grans (ABS) 0.2 Immature Granulocytes 3 PH 8.5 Triglycerides 423 January 8th-13th I have the stomach flu and on the 16th I had my blood test .

The triglyceride levels are high and the HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) is low. You need to visit your doctor for further work up of high triglycerides.
