Blood Test Showed Widal Test Positive. Prescribed Antibiotics. After Repeated Test Same Result. Suggest
hello sir, 5 Days ago i consult physian with complain with fever and riger......doctor suggest me to do some blood reports......in reports they found S Widal slide test positive with O-1:160 and H-1:160 ....... doctor suggest to take antibiotics for 5 days ......after that i repeat test.....in report O- 1:160 as usuall and H-1:40.....so i could not understand the real problem cbc comes normal and other investigation also normal...pls give me the diagnosis

If there is no temperature, pain in abdomen or abdominal discomfort, feeling good appetite, all are signs of improving typhoid.
Nothing to worry about second report, serum titre of O and H will remain high for weeks.
Take light diet for few days.
