Blood Test Shows Positive TB. History Of Having MS. Advice Precautions To Be Taken

My doctor notified me this morning that a blood test came back positive for TB. I also have MS. Due to the holidays I won't be able to go for the sputum tests till Monday. In the meantime, am I to avoid going to public places like restaurants and grocery stores? Should I start making a list of people I have been in contact with or public places I have been to? Am I to avoid being around all people right now?

Hello,
You can go into public places.
you shold take care of few things :
1. Place Handkerchief or any cloth before ur mouth during coughing/sneezing/yawning.
2. Avoid spitting here & there.
3. Get done ur Sputum examination fast to identify level of lung involvement.

I can't remind any blood examination to find out TB, but any way get done Sputum as well as X-ray chest.

Take care of urself & Ur friends /people around u. Also complete full course of Anti-TB drugs for ur cure. Consult Ur physician also.
