Blotchy Spots On Arm, Pink Mark, Itching. Drinks Bear, Taking BP Medicines, BC Pills. Any Ideas?
I suddenly got blotchy spots on my arms and yesterday two weeks later one mark very pink almost look like a light burn which i thought was from hair iron, today it began to itch a day later, i drink beer could it be related to my drinking, blood pressure meds or birth control pills, or is it infection of some sort? Thank you!
Hello Welcome to healthcare magic forum. Thank you for your query I understand your concern regarding your skin problem. It is difficult to comment about specific diagnosis only from your detail. It look like allergic dermatitis which may be due to food ,drug or infection. You need to take anti histaminic medicine for itching and allergy control. You can apply calamine lotion over it. It gradually become darken in color and fade out. Do not apply any irritant cream or lotion over it,chances of worsening is there. Do not rub or scratch over the lesion. Avoid sun exposure and drink more water. It is better to consult dermatologist. I hope I answered your question. Regards
