Blue, Black Lump Near Leg. What Can It Be? Had Varicose Veins Removed, Related?

I was drying myself yesterday morning after my shower and down on front of my right foot near my leg I noticed a blue/black lump, naturally I was scared, so I went to the doctor who said I must have burst a blood vessel during my night sleep and that my foot would go black, which it is, but she recommended that I get my variose veins removed, any tips what to do now or where to go.

Hi,Gertone,
Thanks for query.
As your doctor has examined your leg and he might have found varicose veins .
It is also possible that you might have Deep vein thrombosis.
Consult Vascular surgeon and get examined.
Ok and bye.
