Body And Facial Hair. All Blood Tests Normal. What Is The Cause?

HELLO,doctor I am suffering with body and facial hair .My blod tests are normal .LH, FSH ,PROLACTIN,FREE Testestrone and total,Dhea sulfate ,andrestendione,uitrasound scanning,17 hydroxy progestrone etc ,all are normal.I am on laser hair removal treatment.right now iam not taking any medicines .what is the cause of unwanted hair growth ,I AM 19 YRS old.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
There could be two causes for the same- it could be hereditary or it could be idiopathic hirsutism. In both the cases, laser hair reduction is the treatment of choice. Medicines are required if there is any hormonal imbalance.
