Body Remains Hot Always, Wraps In Blanket At Night. Why? Diabetic, Overweight, Hypertensive

Husband is always hot. but wraps up in blankets at night, his skin to me feels like he is burning up, but he says he is not. It has been this way for a couple years. Any idea why? Or if there is a problem we should be concerned about. He is 52, overweight , diabetic, hypertensive and on cholesterol meds...on top of meds for the other issues.

I have gone trough your query in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
You should not be bothered unless he has a fever. how about measuring his body temperature ones. Normally people have different basal metabolic rate. moreover if ones skin is hot, you feel cold like you shiver when you have fever. So that is the reason your husband is wrapping himself.
i dont see any reason to worry.
