Hi, I have a boil within my ear that has got progressively bigger and is very painful. You can see it with a torch on the outer ear canal. I am taking painkillers which help every 5 hours but will it resolve itself over time without intervention? I have been putting hot compression on it occasionally to draw out anything I can
