Brown Skin Getting Light In A Child. Is It Fungal Infection?

Hi, My 8 year old son has had a mild lightening of his brown skin around his chin area on his left side. It is not as severe as the vitiligo pictures I have seen. He has had this for 2 years. The patch does not seem to be growing or changing in any way. It was never scaly or red. Any ideas? I have taken him to a dermatologist who does not think it is fungal and does not think it is vitiligo either.

Hi, Somnak,
Thanks for query.
It seems that your son might be having Pre-vitiligo or Hypo pigmented patch over the chin.
After proper examination dermatologist can conclude about the lesion.
Ok and bye.
