Brown Spots On Cheeks. Used Depiwhite. Suggestion?

Hi doctor,
My name is jiten. Since few months I have noticed that I hav got some brown or you can say balckish spot on both the sides of my chicks. I went to a dr and he suggested me to use depiwhite. So is this cream gonna help and earlier my face used to be very white but now its not that much fairer. So kindly suggest some thing.

Hi,
Thanks for contacting HCM
You have some brown or y blackish spot on both the sides of cheeks and your doctor suggested depiwhite. these all finding suggestive of melasma .Treatment of melasma may include one or combination of these hypopigmented cream such as hydroquinone, kojic acid, alpha hydroxy acids, azelaic acid, ascorbic acid, tretinoin (Retinol), topical glucocorticoids, and licorice extract in the night and in day to help prevent these dark spots, sunscreen may be applied.
