Hey,I am 24 years,I had a miscarriage in April '13 and the Dr.advice me to take depo shout if I don't want a baby soon and I had one shout and it finish a month ago but I have no my period yet but I have a brown blood spoting every two or tree days,I wonder to know this my period or a problem of th shout?and I want be pregnant very,is there any chance to be pergnant in this brown blood spot???and how long it take to me to get pergnant again.pleas help me....thank u Dr.
Here, you need to undergo one home pregnancy test at the earliest to rule out pregnancy. Blood test is more confirmatory. Brown spotting may indicate late implantation bleeding. However, failure rate of depo shot is only 0.3%.
Other reasons are old endometrial tissue, side effect of depo shot itself, pelvic or vaginal infection, wt gain, stress, hormonal imbalance etc.
Kindly consult with gynecologist after undergoing initial test for complete evaluation and take suggestive treatment. Maintain genital hygiene properly.
