Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Sinusitis is due to blocked sinus openings. So all infected fluid can stagnate inside that. When you blow nose it can get opened that is why you got the brown discharge. Your case can be a chronic sinusitis. For my patients i treat with Nasal decongesants as oral tablets or nasal drops, antibiotics and NSAID drugs. If not improvement after that i do a paranasal sinus x ray and advise a sinus puncture and drainage if required.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
