Brownish Red Blotch Belly Spreading To Under Breasts. Recommendations?

I have had one smallish brownish red blotch on my belly for about two years. Last week, I noticed a second. Now, I have at least three more. I have the one on my belly, one under each breast, and one on the underside of my breast. They range in size from a few centimeters in diameter to the size of a dime. They don't hurt, itch, or seem to be irritated in any way. They simply appear to be discolorations. I haven't been out in the sun in a bathing suit for eight months. What could these be? I am female and 35.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

It is close to impossible to comment on the exact cause for the red blotches without a physical examination. But the few conditions that can cause red blotches on the body are:
-Rosacea (blood vessel disorder, usually related to sun exposure, but is seen in other conditions as well)
-Psoriasis
-Scleroderma (immune disorder)
and many more.

My advise would be to visit a doctor at the earliest, a skin specialist to be more precise. And please avoid applying any lotions, gels, ointments, creams, etc; on the region.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
