Bruise On The Top Of The Feet, Wearing Soft Strap Sandals, Reddish Pinpoints Around Ankle. What Could This Be?

I have two unexplained bruises on the top of my feet . I noticed them when i got home for work and took off my sandals. the bruise on each foot is in exactly the same area, under the strap of my sandal. I have been wearing the sandals for a few months and they are soft and not tight. I also noticed some reddish pinpoints around the inside of my ankle.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

Probably You have developed an allergic reaction.

Location of rash exactly at same place suggests this.

It is called as contact dermatitis.

Please change your slipper.

Apply a mild steroid lotion like desonide,

Also take an antihistamine tablet.

This will give you some relief.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.
