Bump Near The Jawline And Cheek, Pains When Pressure Is Applied. What Could It Be?
Hey doctor, I have a bump about the size of a quarter that appear near my jaw line and cheek. It is not tender, and has been there for a month. I was playing football and after I was punch in the mouth, i notice the bump a week later. It is not painful, but when I put pressure on it, there is a pain. Do you know what it is? I have a clue but I want to be certain before I visit ENT next week.

The bump can be a sebaceous cyst or a collection of tissue (like blood clots) formed due to the injury. Consult your ENT specialist, he can tell you better by clinical examination and certain investigations like Fine needle aspiration test (FNAC). Depending upon the reports and clinical examination you can go for removal of the bump as per direction of your treating doctor.
