Bump On Mons Pubis Right Above The Left Of Clitoris, Not Painful. Is It Vulvar Cancer ?

I have a bump on my mons pubis but not where it meets the thigh, its right abvoe and to the left of the clitorious. I have an appointment with the ob gyn for my yearly checkup tomorrow but I am on my period, should I still go and get it looked at tomorrow or reschedule in a week or so when I;m no longer mensturating? It feels uncomfortalbe to touch, but it's not painful. I noticed it about a month ago. I'm worried it's vulvar cancer, I have a history of HPV but have had normal paps and negitave HPV tests for about 3 years now.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having ingrown hair follicle infection.
If it is infected and gives throbbing pain then go for one antibiotic medicine course.
It is better to avoid consulting Gynaec while having period.
Consult gynaec after period stops completely.
Ok and take care.
