Bump On Right Breast Close To Armpit. Small Amount Of Blood. What Could It Be?

Hey, I have a bump on my right breast close to the armpit. It started out like a pimple and I tried to pop it. It wouldn't pop. So I left it alone now it's been 2 to 3 weeks and now its turned a greyish color with the bump still. Tried to pop it again but, nothing comes out... but very small amounts of blood. What could it be?

Hi,

Thanks for writing here.

Bump seems to be due to bacterial infection.

It can occur due to ingrown hairs or blockage of a hair follicle.

Do not try to rupture it.

You need to take course of antibiotics like cephalexin.

Keep area dry .Use loose cotton clothing.

In case if it does not resolve it will be better to consult a dermatologist.

Hope this will help you.Take care.
