Bump On Thigh, Pink And Inflamed, No Pain

Hi, I have a pink, round bump on the back of my leg on my upper thigh. It came in about a year ago but recently became inflamed and changed shape when I was in a pool and a hot tub. It doesn t hurt but has recently gotten irritated from wearing shorts. I was wondering what is and if I should get it checked out by a doctor. Thanks so much!
