Bumps On Arm, Seems Like Pimple, Pretty Big, Filled With Puss, Red. What Could This Be?

My boyfriend has these bumps on his arm . It seemed to start like one pimple on his elbow but it was hard and got pretty big and filled with puss. It finally popped but still remained super red around the area. Now where the red area was there are smaller pimple like bumps around the area as if its spreading, any ideas as to what this could be?

Hello and welcome to HCM
A big swelling filled with pus on the forearm which ruptured releasing pus followed by development of new similar lesions is umlikely to be a pimple.

I would like to know whether the swelling is associated with itching. If yes then there are other possibilities for the lesion like bullous pemphigoid, dermatitis herpetiformis, etc. These are skin conditions occuring secondary to autoimmunity.

You need to consult a dermatologist for clinical; examination and biopsy of the lesion.

Thanks and take care
