Burning In Sinuses, Tickling Throat, Mucus. Have Reaction To Amoxicillin. Serious?
What does it mean when I have had two separate random incidents a week apart that were a sudden extreme burning in my sinuses right after a slight tickle in my through. then my own mucus seemed to literally burn my skin when I blew my nose . This is more extreme then a sinus infection or an allergic reaction it seems. is it possible I should be tested for something more urgent or serious or is it possible that I am having a reaction to the amoxicillin I started a week ago and finished today. which happens to be when I had the first and most recent attacks.
Hi, it appears to be the allergic reaction called common cold, and a secondary infection with the bacteria. would have led to the sinusitis. When there is bacterial infection suspected, it is better to consult an E.N.T.surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Thank you.
