Burning In Stomach, Chest, Nose And Throat. Ears Blocked. Taking Ranitadine And Pantomerazole. Cure?

I have burning in my stomach, chest and nose and throat. My ears also feel blocked and at times I feel bloated, I am taking meds Ranitadine and pantomerazole. They do help with the symtons but I have been suffering from constant burning the last two weeks. It does not matter what I eat or if I eat the burning in always there.

Hi and thanks for the query.
Looks like you have dyspepsia with gastroesophageal reflux disease.
It means that your stomach contents are making their way back into your esophagus and throat producing burning in the chest and throat.
You should consult a doctor.
Your doctor will put you on a prokinetic along with an antacid fpr 4 weeks.
If your symptoms fail to subside in 4 weeks you will require an upper GI endoscopy to rule out hiatus hernia and H-Pylori infection.
You will need to follow some lifestyle modifications
1) Avoid alcohol and smoking.
2) Do not sleep for 2 hours after having food.
3) Head end elevation of your bed by 10 degrees.
4) Have small meals frequently.
Good luck,
Dr Rajkishori Godhi
