Burning Red Lump Below Penis Head After Shower. Should Take Child To ER?

We went to the lake today my 8 yr old grandson was visiting. Afterwards he took a shower. He called out from the shower crying. He showed us there was a red bump on his penis below the head and he compained it was burning. There was another small bump on the tip of the penis. This just started. Should I take him to the emergency room?

HI
Thank for asking to the HCM
I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that such sudden onset of lesion could be due to the insect bite and this would be differentiated, for the symptomatic relief "Diphenhydramine lotion " can be tried, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
