A 20 mm hole was closed with a mess. now for past one month she is suffering from burning sensation in left feet , pain in left leg and bulging of both legs when travel or strained. Cardiologist 's  Response
Hi there,
Thank you for writing in.
I am a cardiologist and read your mail with diligence.

I can not think that ASD closure by open heart surgery 3 years ago can be responsible for any symptoms you have narrated. As you have rightly pointed out it could be nerve problem peripheral neuropathy. I would urge you to see your general physician doctor.

With Best Wishes.
