Hello
Thanks for your query. It is difficult to make any cements on what you have narrated. If your husband has nocturnal frequency and burning urination it indicates that he has irritative symptoms so there is possibility of Prostatitis. You should get his Ultrasound scanning and Routine Urine test done to confirm the diagnosis. As regard the varicocele (Varicose veins of scrotum). he will not have urinary symptoms due to varicocele. The final diagnosis of Proatatis can be confirmed only on endoscopic examination (Cystoscopy)which will be carried out by Urologist. You can take some antibiotics for prostatitis after consulting your family Dr.
