COPD. On Two Liters Oxygen And Continue Smoking. Assistance?

Good evening docto'rs my name is deitriche washington . i'm 55yrs of age with servere heath issues . I don't look sick
but as they dsay looks are deceiving. pardon my manners . how r u ? my question can pancretitis and the aortia be heal by meds or surgery. also i have copd . yep !I I did'nt listen to my doctor . I' feel so stupid and worhless at times only because, i've tried to stop and it's very difficult doc . I'm on 2liter of oxgen and inhalers , but yet continue to smoke . i'm I a lost cause ? or is there still assistance for me

Hi,
Thanks for posting query on HCM.
1. Pancreatitis normally requires conservative medical management. You can visit a gastroenterologist for the same. In case of complications like abscess, surgical intervention is required.

2. For COPD the most important management is smoking cessation and nothing works if one continues to smoke. You need to continue inhalers and oxygen. I fpossible participate in a Pulmonary rehab program which includes smoking cessation.
