CRP, Blood Test Done. What Does The Reports Indicate?

hi, my orthopedic prescribe me the crp test, because he suspect rheumatism problem. I m 37, male, and the crp it s 93 mg, higher than normal. I did the blood exam when I had fever and a suspected urinary inflammation. right now I m in Egypt and I don t know which specialist I should visit to delve the situation. thank you

Your CRP value is definitely high at 93mg. It is raised in many inflammatory conditions. CRP is a non-specific inflammatory marker. It is not specific for any disease.

Ideally, you should consult an internal medicine specialist and proceed further with the investigations and further management.
