Hello,

Block in RCA may lead to thrombotic occlusion leading to acute inferior wall Myocardial infarction, often complicated by complete heart block which will require emergency transvenous pacemaker therapy.

If RCA is the dominant artery, one should go for CABG. If the posterior descending artery is supplied by the right coronary artery (RCA), then the coronary circulation can be classified as "right-dominant" i.e. the artery which gives off supply to the AV node i.e. the AV nodal artery.

Most of the time this is the right coronary artery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
