HI, Is It ok to take aleve for 3 or 4 days if i have costochaondritis which cause pain when it gets inflamed. My family Doctor said that what it was causing the pain. I also have a herniated disk in my lower back, which does not seem to bother me. Also i have some degenerative spinal cord issue in my upper back area. Now my left shoulder aarea does bother me and the upper part of my left arm....sometime worse than other times. I have 2 stents in my heart artery. I went to my cardiologist about a 2 weeks ago and had a chest x-ray and he said that it looked ok. I was telling him the same thing i told my family doctor about this pain i was having in my chest area. She said i should try and take aleve for 3 or 4 days just to see if that help with the costochondritis. I m on an aspirin regimen and plavix edarbycor 40/12.5. I have not been diagnosed but my family Doctor think i might have Acid Re-flux. He has just put me on omeprazole because of the burning i have in my chest and stomach area. Just don t start talking all this at the same time. I think my i start with the aleve for a few days. I would just like to know what you think. Thanks in advance for your help. OJM
