General & Family Physician 's  Response
Short answer: Yes, Aleve (Naproxen) will help in reducing pain.
Detailed answer: back pain in morning especially after waking up can be caused by improper sleep posture, muscle weakness. On some occasions joint pain in the morning can also be due to rheumatoid arthritis.
-Try sleeping on your back on a suitable mattress that is not too soft or hard.
-Start some light muscle exercises to strengthen back and neck muscles
-Avoid massaging
-Run some blood test like RA factor for diagnosis of Rheumatoid arthritis
-Tingling in finger can be due to radiculopathy due to a strained nerve root.
-X ray of neck can detect a distant possibility of problem in cervical spine like spondylosis.
Thank you.
