Can Allegra Be Used For Itching On The Body?

Can I use an Allegra product, as recommended by my doctor, to ease or stop the itching from internal forces, Lupus, maybe? Will a tablet keep the itching from appearing at random? I ve been applying creams for three months straight, 24/7, and I d love a one pill works all day treatment. The cause of this all over breakout and intense itching has not been diagnoses as yet, but thinking Lupus. My ANA numbers were off. thanks, Jennifer

hello Jennifer, as you describe it seems you have urticaria.
its an allergic disease which is due to some triggering factors which me be food item to consume, hot or cold weather, water, hair color you use , dust or anything around you, if you are able to diagnose the allergen then you can avoid it.
you can also go for allergen patch test to know the specific allergens.
or you can try long term use of antihistaminics like levocetrizine or allegra for long time and taper off.
