Can Allercet DC And Azithromycin Be Taken For Acute Bacterial Pharyngitis?

Hello ! I am currently having a strep throat accompanied by blisters on lips and in mouth and swollen lymph nodes . Doctors recognized it as acute bacterial pharyngitis . Is it safe to take ALERCET DC 10 mg with Azithromycin 250mg for faster relief. ?

Your symptoms seem to be related to pharyngitis.

Azithromycin is a very common antibiotic used in this case in our daily practice.

I also recommend using anti-inflammatory medications such as Ibuprofen to relieve the symptoms.

I suggest you drink liquids and rest.
