Can Alprazolam Be Taken Before Stress Test?

I am going to have a echo cardiogram and then a stress test , I have a panic disorder and depression , hypothyroidism , I take lexapro 10mg , alprazolam .25 as needed and synthroid , I ve been on these drugs for many years . I m nervous about taking the stress test on the treadmill because every time my heart starts pumping fast I get scared , can I take an aprozolam before the test ?

Take your drugs as usual. There is no need to take anything before the stress test. If you feel bed during the test you may need to stop the test.
