Can Altris Gel Treat Greying Of Hair And How To Apply It?

Hi, Doctor adviced me to use altris gel once in a day for a period of six months to overcome white hair. Where should I apply? Only to the scalp which has white hair or to the entire scalp. Does it have any side effects? Did applying altris gel solve the problem for anyone.

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,
Altris gel (Melitane) has to be applied over entire scalp. Take two finger tip units (squeeze gel and apply from tip of index finger to distal crease of finger= 1 finger tip unit).
I have not seen any side effects in my patients yet. Itching or allergy to it is a rare possibility. To be honest, a lot of my patients are on it but I have not noticed dramatic improvement in any. But then I have been using it only for past 6-8 months. I have advised my patients to continue.
