Thank you for your query.
I believe it is advisable to continue both medications. (dose adjustment may be required if repeated pressure readings over a span of 3days have a systolic (higher reading) less than 105mmHg or a diastolic(lower reading) less than 55mmHg consistently.
Your blood pressure is normal while you are on both medications. Reducing or stopping one of it may cause your pressure to increase.
Dosage /medication adjustment should be done only if you have either very low blood pressure, severe side effects or continued
hypertension, that too under the supervision and advice of your doctor.
You are on a good regimen with antihypertensive coverage throughout the day that effectively controls your blood pressure.
If you have giddiness, breathing difficulty, water retention(edema) on your legs,
severe headache, please contact your doctor immediately.
Monitor your blood pressure twice a day, preferably at the same time everyday.
The cuff shouldn't be too loose or tight (two fingers should snugly fit after you have tied it to you arm).
The position of the lower edge of the cuff should be 2 finger breadths above the elbow crease.
You should lie down for a few minutes in a quiet place at least an hour after or before a meal/exercise/bath/caffeine intake.
The pressure should be raised and released gradually.
After you follow the steps and your B. P. shows abnormal findings as mentioned above, you should see your doctor with these readings.
Hope I've been helpful
