Hi there!Welcome to HCM!

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic prescribed for the strep infection. The headache and throat pain you experience may be associated with that. Excedrin is usually prescribed for migraine, which contains caffeine in itself. So additional caffeine intake may lead to symptoms like anxiety, panic and even depression. So Excedrin and caffeine are not advised together. Although Amoxicillin and Excedrin have not shown any clinical interactions yet, it is best to ask your treating doctor whether its safe to take the two together.
Hope this helps.
