Can Amoxicillin Be Taken While On Ampicillin?
Hi I went to the doctor on Tuesday 2:20 yesterday and I was diagnosed with strep throat, my doctor prescribed me with amoxicillin 875mg and I need the start it around 7am, but before I went to the doctor, I took 3 ampicillin 500mg and have 4 left, do I need to finish the ampicillin or is It safe to start and finish the amoxicillin

Both are same group of drugs so don't take both at a time. The ampicillin which you have took may be not sufficient dose so after 6 hours you can continue with Amoxicillin.
