Can Amoxicillin Cause Nosebleeds?

Hello. Can Amoxicillin cause nosebleeds? My 8 year old has had 3 sudden nosebleeds since starting on Amoxicillin 3 days ago. They have taken at least 5 minutes to stop. We have had him bend forward, squeeze the boney area on his nose and wipe away the constant dripping blood until it stops. He has never had bloody noses that have been this difficult to stop and have come on with no picking or bumping.
