Can Anagrelide Be Taken While Suffering From Flu?

Hello, my name is Zsuzsa, at YYYY@YYYY . I received a prescription for anagrelide, 5mg twice a day, for high platelet count (800). I see that this medicine has many side effects--- I currently have the flu, with severe coughing spasms- is it ok to start taking this now?

Yes, you can definitely take this drug, anagrelide. This drug won't interact with your common cold drug. It won't affect recovery from common cold. So no need to worry, continue this drug along with other measures for flu.
