Can Ashokarishta Control Acne?

hello doctor bi am 29 years single female and going to marry this december mu problem is i get sever acne before periods and i have consulted to doctors also they are saying that before periods your hormones imbalncing is reason of this. I want to ask that is ashokarishta is good for me

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne on face which is very common in your age group because of hormonal changes and skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it leads to post inflammation hyper-pigmentation. Ashokarishta is good for you. you can take shankpushpi as well. Take diet rich in multivitamins. I would suggest you to wash your face daily with cold water and face wash containing salycylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelac acid which is good for acne. Drink plenty of water. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks. Apply aloe vera gel at night.
