Can Asthakind Drops Be Given For Cough And Cold In An Infant?

Hi my daughter 4 months old suffering from cold and cough.. As doctor prescribed asthakind p drops... (Morn 7 drops and night as well). Her temperature is 98'... Please suggest regarding this whether she get any side effects? Thanks in advance.

As per your complain Asthakind P is a combination containing mucolytic, decongestant and cough expectorant and it is suitable for your child and will relieve her symptoms..
You can also give her saline nasal drops as it will help in relieving congestion and ease in breathing..
You should feed her with plenty of breast milk as it has immunity factors and will boost her immunity..
You should also do warm compresses over her chest..
Give her ample of rest and avoid exposure to cold..
In case if she has discomfort while sleeping due to congestion raising her head slightly can ease in drainage..
