Can Atenolol Cause Prolonged Bleeding?

Hello, I am 42 years old and have mild hypertension. Doc put me on atenolol at the 1st of April this year. My periods are usually normal (4 to 5 days) & just had a pap & full ck up in Jan...everything normal. I started my period 2 wks ago and have had mild bleeding ever since until today & now I am flooding with some clots? I would like to know if the atenolol could be causing this? Thanks!
