Can Athrotec Be Used For Pleasure?

Hey, I was worried about someone abusing athrotec, do you think it's possible that it could be used to get a buzz because my 19 year old daughter has been prescribed it and I'm hearing she's snorting it. I want to know about what it can do, before I go and confront her

no, it does not get someone high. People can convince themselves that practically anything can get you high. Snorting will get it into you much faster and have a more noticeable effect. There isn't a lot of danger from this but certainly there is more than if you took it regularly, so drug companies rarely make drugs to be taken this way--mainly if it has to get to the nose or is used in an emergency.

However, even if it is a fake drug and the person is totally wrongly convinced it is making them high, this is still an addictive pattern of use. It will escalate and then be likely to be followed by Real Drugs with Real Addiction and Real Harm.
1) people need to know addiction isn't a happy situation and they could choose NOT to be that way.
2) there might be other issues like depression, adjustment, peer pressures that are underneath it and benefit from counseling or other medications.
